Eugene Celebration Parade – River Roaders

Eugene Celebration Parade!

River Roaders are walking in the Eugene Celebration Parade to Celebrate our River and Garden District.

August 24, staging begins at 9:00 a.m.
South Eugene High School Parking Lot about 19th and High (Correction)
Parade starts at 10:00 a.m.

We will be one of the first entries, so please arrive on time and ready to walk. By being first, we will be able to watch most of the parade. The parade route is only 16 blocks long.

Load up a wagon or garden cart with children or chickens, flowers or veggies, shovels or pitchforks.  Your creative decorations are what will make us stand out. Bring whistles and rhythm instruments, bells and kazoos. Use your imagination.

If you bring your dog, make sure it is on a leash and can be kept under control when unusual sights and sounds occur. Bring along some water for your dog.

Wear shirts and blouses in hues of blue to green to represent the beautiful Willamette and the bountiful gardens of our neighborhood. Don’t forget water, your sunscreen and a hat.

Be ready to rock and roll behind the RRCO banner.
