Neighborhood Matching Grants Available

The City of Eugene Neighborhood Matching Grants program for 2009 begins this fall with applications due by November 14th. The city has allotted $70,000 for this program, and in the previous two years several great projects throughout Eugene have been funded.

Projects can include physical improvements that involve public safety or recreation facilities, neighborhood based events, neighborhood development activities, and public school partnerships.

Grant guidelines and application materials are available on the City’s web site, www.eugene-or.gov/matchinggrants.
Pre-application review deadline is November 14th, with the final application deadline on January 30, 2009.

If you have an idea or proposal for our neighborhood, please take a look at these guidelines and contact RRCO for more information. This could be a GREAT opportunity for neighborhood improvement funds.
